Solution for Palestine

Reader comment on item: 100 Bin Ladens on the Way?

Submitted by Darryl Davis (United States), Apr 8, 2003 at 23:11

Gaza West Bank temporarily joins the Commonwealth with Puerto Rico et al.

Arafat appointed temporary Governor, pending an election.

Palestinian armed forces told they are now in the Palestine National Guard and to report for change of uniform, payroll processing, and Geneva Convention education. Survey country and give clear titles to every hovel, yard, and field. Process all for Social Security numbers, drivers licenses. Government TV/radio to explain all the benefits and any changes in the legal codes. Tax rates like Puerto Rico, or less. City/county offices that can issue building and business permits that cost a pittance and are promptly disgorged. Land law, business law, banking, etc.

Anyone who wants to be under the jurisdiction of Sharia in addition to US laws, just go to a magistrate and swear to it. No one does a land transaction under the new system unless it is at market day in front of a big audience, for the purpose of education and fault-finding.

The basic question is, what do the people want?
