The new war to rebuild underway...

Destroying alot of these oppresive governments are the way to go. Watch the attitudes of these people change for the better. I only hope Bush and his allies will make sure aid gets into Afghanastan and Iraq and that peacekeepers will prevent these people [fundamentalist militants] from coming in and screwing up everything. I am glad that this is almost over. There may still be people who are afraid and there has been resistance. They are afraid we will abandon them again as in Desert Storm and that we will leave them to die. Also there is a stigma of certain other issues against America.

The six points Pipes mentioned are VERY IMPORTANT! Not to say there will not be other terrorist attacks in the future. Let's just hope it won't be in the equivalant of 9/11!

Also, we need to be careful that this is not a crusade and not a war against all of Islam. Hopefully when religious leaders in America talk about Islam they will use restraint and use a tone of only friendly criticism, rather condemnation like Franklin Graham and Jerry Vines use. The fact that there are Christian relief groups like Samaritans coming in is also something to note.

I think If we do get attacked, North Korea rather than alQaeda will be involved. Let's hope Bush gets everything straight and manages well.
