"Actually, the precise opposite is more likely to happen: The war in Iraq will lead to a reduction in terrorism. That's what happened a year and a half ago in Afghanistan."

...Fact: 25+ individuals brought the US to its knees and no government, no matter how dominating, can control another 25 from doing it again. An attempt to control by force will never achieve that.

... How many years was it between the first bomb incident and 9/11? The scale here is 5-10 years, not months. I think that the formula for "precise opposite" is based on little empirical data ....

We all have to wonder how many 9/11s will happen before the US will get it. Let's hope it's not many.
