The Left Loves Osama [and Saddam] for Economic Reasons

Let's call it straight. The Left wants what the USA and all industrial countries have - power, which is achieved largely through democratic and economic means. Yet, practicing Marxism will never reach such lofty heights in the international arena, just ask the Russians. The Chinese have realized and modified somewhat their approach to stay in power but their story is not finished. And, the so called revolution in Iran is falling apart due to economic and political mismanagement.
