Enemy of my enemyReader comment on item: Why the Left Loves Osama [and Saddam, Explains Lee Harris] Submitted by S. Burns (United States), Mar 19, 2003 at 13:33 The enemy (read: Stalin) of my enemy (read: Hitler) is my friend. This article seems to drive home this historically perilous and currently illogical line of reasoning. It also makes you realize that it's probably more important to read what people have espoused in the PAST, rather than the "modified" truth that their intellectual pivoting has devised.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please. Comments are screened and in some cases edited before posting. Reasoned disagreement is welcome but not comments that are scurrilous, off-topic, commercial, disparaging religions, or otherwise inappropriate.
