Regarding your final summation: "In sum: 9/11 and the prospect of war against Saddam Hussein have exposed the Left's political self-delusion, intellectual bankruptcy and moral turpitude."

You have exposed the Left's fatal flaw and the reason they seem to be loudly fading into irrelevance; their arguments are illogical at best (fabricated at worst), inconsistent and indefensible. And more and more people understand this.

Brilliant distillation! I can't wait for the howls of protest!
