They switched from championing the Workers to championing the Third World. I am a bit disturbed by Noam Chomsky's anti-American stance. He goes on and on about the sins of America, but says precious little about those of the Communist world. Of course, the Communists had hoped to convert the Third World to Communism, and play on any grievances-- real or imagined-- that they had against the United States.Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
