Re Gratitude Through Actions

"If you do what I want, I will give you everything you need" is scarcely a new sentiment in religious doctrine. Matt. 6:32-33 says, "Your heavenly Father already knows all your needs, and he will give you all you need from day to day if you live for him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern." I don't think this concept in Islam explains gratitude or lack thereof on the part of its followers.
