He was about to sell oil in a currency other then the american dollars to the russians, chinese andSaddam's regime was a lot less worse then the rest of the arab Brady Bunch. His baath parties was more secular then islamism. He was very heavy handed against religeous fundamentalists in his country and of all the arab countries, christians had the mildest 'second class' status. So Saddam was hit and Sudan, Syria, Saudis, Yemen, etc.. are not hit? And, very sadly, our western leaders still display fascination with those pedophile-princes.
