I agree Bjorn but...

I agree with you Bjorn, the invasion of Iraq has become a disaster in a humanitarian sense... The numbers of innocent Iraqis killed is approaching the numbers that died as a direct result of Saddam Hussein himself...

But in the long run, the invasion of Iraq will be a success for the free world… It has shown everyone, including the moderate Islamic world, just how despicable, backward, and suppressing Islamic leaders (and Islam itself) has become… Every time a Jihadist runs into a crowded marketplace and blows himself up, killing innocent people for no apparent reason, the moderate Islamic world has to be secretly embarrassed and quietly outraged…

Because of the invasion, the world is learning that it is not necessarily bad people that are carrying out these terror attacks… These people feel they are doing God's will because that is what is written in the Quran and that is what they are told… After enough innocent people have lost their lives due to "Allah's" will, people will begin to realize that if the interpretation (and teachings) of Islam don't change, there will never be peace and they will fall further and further behind…

In short, I believe that Middle Eastern people will come to the conclusion that Islam is not the answer; rather, it is the problem… And that is where the change has to come from - them… So they will say that they defeated the West and they are strong, but in the end, it will be Islam that is defeated…
