Why would they be grateful ?!!

The Iraqis have had one dictator replaced, which is good news…but the bad news is that they have been replaced by another dictator….the US. the US controls the government the elections and the military right now. How is that not a type of dictatorship? Nothing can happen without the US's permission no matter who the people elect. And even that is a problem because the US will not allow the Iraqi people to elect anyone that will turn against the US forces.So why should the Iraqis be greatful. As far as they are concerned they were invaded, bombed, a war was started in their front yard, thousands are dying in the crossfire and all so that they can vote an unknown number of times for a governmnet that the US has built anyway.
I don't care what your political leanings are….if this happened to you would YOU be greatful?
