You are right on the money! The declaration of Kurdistan as a sovereign state is an event waiting to happen. No other people in the world have have such a continuing presence in an area of the world than the Kurds including the Hebrews and the Palestinians. It could be argued that the Kurds are more deserving of a homeland than the Jews just based on the continuity of their presence----namely thousands of years.
