You are right, that is percisely the problem, and on top of giving Iran a strategic advantage, we have turned Iraq into another Lebanon...and both Iran and Syria were more than happy to confront the USA there via. Hezbollah. Iran owns the South of Iraq, every day the Sunnis commit another suicide bombing, and George W. Bush is the next Richard M. Nixon. He has forgotten that we are fighting a war on terror, not a war for oil.

Anyone who calls the Iraq War a success has watched too much Fox News. If you want to see an Arab equivalent, watch Al-Jazeera. The two are very similar, and Americans and Arabs, respectably, should count on neither for information. We cannot pin the blame on the Iraqis, but on our own carelessness. Do we really think Iraq is going to be a new Germany? Didn't think so. Vote Blue in '08 to protect our civil liberties and our precious troops. God bless them.
