the question is ..Reader comment on item: Pipes calls war a success Submitted by Unbiased (India), Apr 12, 2006 at 12:34 The question is whether iraqis are better off now than compared to saddam's regime ? the answer NO ! .When will be "your" troops be done really ? when most of innocent iraqis are "accidentally " killed in ur "carefully and strategically " planned bombings or attacks .and now with the unleashing of secretarin voilence ..god save the iraqis ... already the iraqi dead count has exceeded 30000 officially and 50000 if u go by unofficial figures and counting and thats in just 3 years of "liberation" . i dont see US suceeding in establishing democracy in iraq in foreseeable future , it has just given more legimitate excuses to the terrorist making iraq an easy recruiting target to the so called jihadis . Lets face it , the invasion of iraq was done on a dubious premise by a war mongering president and whats worse .he bungled it up totally with his incompetence !.
