Sometimes Compromise is the Prudent Course

Mr. Trump might not hold fast to all the conservative principles you or I espouse. However, he still aligns himself with conservatism more than liberalism.

With Hillary, however, you won't see much support for the values any of us on the GOP side(you, me, or however many millions of us there are) espouse.

We need to realize... sometimes, a little compromise helps advance the greater good.

It's better to be on board the GOP/Trump Train with a presidential candidate who isn't a full 100 percent match with your desires, rather than default to someone who'll definitely be 100 percent opposite to what you desire. I think it was the Rolling Stones who sang, "You can't always get what you want."

There are times for "following your conscience." This, however, isn't one of them.
