Bravo - no Trump, however, this election terribly crucial - No next one.

Reader comment on item: Why I Just Quit the Republican Party

I bailed on the Republican establishment a long long time ago and am glad to see Mr. Pipes doing so, also. Cruz is and always has been my choice as he has a long established record of integrity and conservative political activity.

Past this election, if Obama gets back in or Hillary takes it by hook or by crook, there will be no next election of any note.
A Republican split will almost surely usher Hillary in. I see a chess board lined up with checkmate at every position.

Conservatives have been criminally negligent and disinterested for decades and we're now facing payback. I was once all for evading voting for the Republican choice of candidate if it was Trump. For all of Mr. Pipes reasons and more, I find him repugnant. Nevertheless, a split is terribly dangerous with its attendant purpose in making a "point".

With a progressive/leftist of any stripe taking the White House again, the national electoral process will be dead to any future hope of recovery. Corruption is rampant within this institution, so, It is pretty well there, anyway. George Soros owns most everything involved in the various instruments of the voting apparatus.
