Thank you Ianus for showing us that you are a historical revisionist in addition to being an apologist for Stalin and the Soviet ravishment of your homeland.

I never said Enlightenment was equal to Atheism. Please quote where I said that. Many driving forces behind the Enlightenment such as Voltaire were Deists. David Hume may have been an atheist but we know for sure he did not believe in religion and David Hume scholars call him irreligious.

The majority of Founding Fathers were Deists not Christians.

The Creation of the United States was not created out of reverence to Christianity i.e., the United States is not a Christian country. (See above link) and see the Treaty of Tripoli.

The Declaration of Independence that you quoted (1). Does not Mention Jesus simply a creator and (2). Is rhetoric not law. For a good discussion on this see the debate between Alan Keyes and Alan Dershowitz. Being influenced by Deism does not mean Christianity.

If Christianity is so tolerant your Poland wouldn't need to enclose the principle of the Freedom of Religion within its constitution. That seems redundant since such tolerance already exists as you claimed. Obviously it was done to safeguard all religious rights from the terror of religious monopoly. If such tolerance were an intrinsic part of Christianity why have the principle of secularism in your constitution?

Thomas Jefferson did not believe that Jesus was God

"That Jesus did not mean to impose Himself on mankind as the Son of God, physically speaking, I have been convinced by the writings of men more learned than myself in the lore." -- Thomas Jefferson's letter to William Short, August 4, 1820

Abraham Lincoln was not a Christian

"The Bible is not my book, nor Christianity my profession."
-Spoken by Abraham Lincoln, quoted by Joseph Lewis
