Thanks for your kind words, the precious quote and the link that clarifies many things about the Parthenon Marbles.

As to Kepha Hor I have already had some discussions with him and my impression was that somehow things he wanted to remain unaware of coincided with things that contradict his specific worldview. I could well imagine that if he had been an adult around 1800 he wouldn't have minded helping Elgin plunder the Parthenon and twenty years later he probably would have joint the Turkish army of jihad against the Greeks.
