What "peace" treaty

in response to reader comment: Peace Treaty is ultimate target

Submitted by Shishir (United Arab Emirates), Dec 28, 2011 at 04:48

The peace treaty between Egypt and Israel resembles the "peace" between the Soviet Union and U.S. Heck I would say that Soviets honored peace better though they were technically still at war.I dont recollect Soviet mobs burning down the U.S embassy.

I hope IDF stays strong but I dont think they need worry too much about Egypt. The Egyptian generals are too addicted to the good life via U.S largesse to risk a guaranteed defeat in a war against Israel.

The legacy of the "victory" of 1973 is too pretty precious to tarnish with an unambiguous defeat!
