To Nathan on "How did you become a Muslim?Reader comment on item: Finding Allah in Unlikely Places Submitted by Althaf (Costa Rica), Mar 24, 2009 at 13:29 I was born a Muslim and I live like one. You would not know the first thing of a life of a Muslim. In either case, I live like one today after having read not only the Bible (Old and new testament) but also several books you would not have a clue about. Any ways, I believe Nazreen is just like you. She has no idea why she does what she does for a livving let alone know why she follows a religion - any religion. If she does not know the answers to the questions you asked her, she's probably following a faith blindly. Islam asks you in every page of the Qur'an to seek knowldge and find out for yourself. So some of us who follow Islam know most of the answers and some of us know few. But anyone who does not know the answers to the questions you asked Nazreen is not following Islam the way it should be followed. You just picked one person to comment on - that too the wrong person. ... Althaf Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
