Perhaps you've heard the latest story about Yahoo preventing users from registering e-mail accounts under names that include the word Allah. Ed Callahan discovered this when trying to sign up using his last name and repeatedly failing.

This claim has been refuted by a number of users who were able to register names with the letters "allah." Further there are Arabic names (e.g. Abdallah) that include these letters.
