So there's "good social reasoning" behind the rule prohibiting women from marrying multiple husbands i.e. unknown father.

However, this is just more evidence that the Quran is fiction and made my men. An all-knowing, all-powerful God could've just prescribed inheritance by choice(individual decides who inherits their property, the way it is done in the US) as the rule. Better yet he could've said the whole community must inherit to avoid people unfairly getting wealth for nothing. If that was done then it wouldn't matter who the biological father was other than for curiosity's sake but that's hardly a compelling reason to stop women from having multiple husbands. The fact that God made rules that adapted society to the already existing social norms(that sons inherit regardless of the will of the father) instead of changing that fundamental rule to something better for society suggests the rules in the Quran were invented my men(since limited men might not think of every possible thing that could be changed).
