Not All Lost At Columbia

Reader comment on item: Columbia University vs. America

Submitted by Ron Lewenberg (United States), Apr 2, 2003 at 21:31

Mr. Pipes,

All is not lost at Columbia. According to a recent poll in the Columbia Daily Spectator, the undergraduates are almost evenly divided on the war.

Today, the Columbia College Conservative Club, the College Republicans, and Students United for America held a pro-war rally at Columbia.

We actually had quite a few more than 70 students. Most became an audience behind the press. There were only 2 dozen protestors. Still, it was a great sucess.

The commies had to try to piggyback to get attention.

Cordially,

Ron
