I was hoping someone would say this.

De Genova made only one mistake: he explicated the views commonly held by his fellow faculty members. The other speakers took care to paint a vivid picture of an America worthy of hate, but they left the conclusion to the students. De Genova mistakenly told the students "the answer" that they were to infer from all that was presented.

When it seemed that no one in the media was pointing this out, my wife urged me to write an article. However, I'm not a known figure and don't have extensive knowledge of the academic world. I'm so relieved that a well-known and respected figure has broken the full story. Thank you, Dr. Pipes.
