Personally, I find the Media Blackout scary!

Reader comment on item: My Debate with London Mayor Ken Livingstone
in response to reader comment: Why no MSM?

The reason the press censored this debate is obvious - Pipes won. The clown prince of Londonistan looked like the clown that he is! I was beginning to think the free expression of civilization had a chance with Talk radio to present the conservative viewpoint - but I am wrong - we can't even get the damn morons of talk radio to report this historic event! Instead, that anti-semetic former peanut farmer gets all the press! So we have a true chance to compare the ideas of the peanut farmer and the so called "neo-cons" - or to me - the rational right. In one corner middle east scholar Daniel Pipes.

In the other - the mayor of Londonistan - Ken Livingstone. Of course, Pipes is a gentleman, and he of course rejected my idea that he lead his debate with a reminder of the anti-semitic comment red Ken made to a jewish reporter - comparing him to a "nazi". Personally, I like a good verbal attack - but Pipes relied on his mind and ideas and of course, red Ken was no match. So the clown lost. Pipes won. It was reminiscent of UC Berkely from a few years ago... I was one of the handful of Pipes supporters at this home of "free speech" - and this does remind me of that event. Students at Bazerkely once actually stole all the student newspapers to keep an opposing viewpoint from being read -- and my favorite is the protest that actually kept former prime minister Benjamin Netenyahu from speaking. Yeah - free speach Berkeley style!

And now, we just have 150 or so reporters show up - and the Media Industrial Complex refuses to let the information out - because -- well, you figure out who is paying for the censorship. I think there are lots of things you can buy with all of that middle east oil money - and I suppose the media in the west is one of them! Oh I forgot - it's the Jews who control the media! Yeah - right! Alas, we are left with the Internet...the last hope! I am not optimistic.
