The fact that powerful countries use restraint of power to let their enemies off the hook and placate the folks at home...we should never say we will be withholding the use any weapon in our arsenal to win a victory. How utterly dumb that is.

Yes, the atomic bomb was horrible. But, the debacle ended in a hurry.... didn't it?

Of course, the other thing that happens is that powerful peace loving people like the United States and Israel are hammered in the world of public opinion when they take strong military steps to stop some bit of foolishness on the part of their enemies.

Enemies demand to be defeated. Let's accommodate them.
