Reader comment on item: How Israel Can Win

Submitted by Milton Fried, MD (United States), Apr 4, 2006 at 23:35

After many years of observing Israelis, I have come to the conclusion that many Israelis feel guilty about winning, and are more comfortable as victims, who think they will then, in their victimhood, win the mythical "sympathy of the World".
Additionally, I have observed that Israel's socialists have been a tremendous source of economic and military stragnation and defeatism
.Israel is not a republic, but a dicatorship of the left.
Israelis, and Jews as a group, have develped, after eons of persecution and daily degredation, the slavish attitudes that perpetuate degredation and defeat.. Ihave seen Israel, in it's many wars, snatch defeat from the very mouth of victory.

It pains me to see this, as I love Israel, and am saddened by Israel's suicidal self destructivness and lack of a sense of national soveignty.. From the rich gene-pool of the people, a leader will emerge, eventually, to sweep away the enemies of Israel. First, he, or she, will be required to rid Israel of it's extensive leftist fifth column, the enemy within.
