Quranic ayah or non-quranicReader comment on item: [Moderate] Voices of Islam Submitted by altaf (United States), Jan 29, 2013 at 10:17 Dear Page Sir, You have mentioned in your post about Prophet Muhammad saying "that men can marry those women who have no support by twos, threes or fours, and also that women are your fields etc." Well isn't this quote of Prophet Muhammad appears in the Quran? The first part about marriage is from Chapter no. 4 verse no. 3 while the second part about women being fields appears in Chapter no. 2, verse no. 223. What am i wondering about is what do we view the above, do we view them as quranic ayahs or hadiths? and also with you in-depth knowledge and understanding you can guide us to show what is the actual quran, what does it consist of? surely not the one that we possess today is the "real" quran. please comment.
