Dear Donvan,

The rights Islam gave to women 1400 years ago, no society could ever match them. For your knowledge the people who are accepting Islam out of them 2/3 are women. The best Quran translation available in English is written by 3 American ladies who accepted Isalm and learnt Arabic.

The rights Islam gave to women are:

Man is totally responsible for well being of his wife.

Man has no right over the wealth of his wife.

Men and women are equal as human beings.

At the time of marriage women can also ask for right to divorce and it will be written in the marriage agreement.

Women can ask any amount of wealth from husband at the time of marriage. It will be her wish to spend it the way she likes it. She may help her poor parents as well from this money.

If a women is divorced her father and brothers are resposible for her. If they are not there the Govt. is resposible for her.

A muslim can not harm an animal, then how can he harm his own wife.

A married man and woman found committing adultery will be stonned to death. But the condition is that there must be 4 eye witnesses. It is almost impossible to proof adultry. Who will do it in front of 4 people.

I feel pity ,how you people are brained washed by media.

Lastly, heaven lies under the feet of mothers. We dont leave our mothers in old age houses. They take top priority.

I can only pray for you.

Mat Allah be with you,
