Reader comment on item: [Moderate] Voices of Islam
in response to reader comment: one never knows

Submitted by DANIEL REDMOND (United States), Dec 6, 2007 at 05:30

Your comments were right on the money. I had a brilliant journalism professor in college many years ago who always said, "Don't listen to what people say; watch what they do." There was never a better time or place to apply that principle than when listening to the incessant blather of Muslims and their enablers who insist that Muslims are "peaceful" despite all of the empirical evidence to the contrary. It is the Big Lie of the 21st Century to insist that "Islam is a peaceful religion."

Now I have never read the Quran cover to cover and I do not intend on wasting my time doing so. I have better things to do than to spend that much time reading the inane blatherings of some wandering self-proclaimed prophet from the Seventh Century who insists on stoning people to death for adultery and cutting off hands and feet for petty theft. But I have seen enough selected excerpts of the Quran that were focussed intently on the advocacy of violence and the violent overthrow of other cultures to know that its teachings are not purely innocent and virtuous.

To Muslims the world consists of two separate entities: Dar al-Islam (the world of Islam) and Dar al-Harb (the land of warfare) and the land of warfare is simply a reference to all those societies not yet conquered by Islam. Obviously if their perception of anyplace outside of Islam is that it must remain in a state of warfare until conquered, then Islam is not inherently peaceful. For some very illuminating information regarding the reality of Islam please log onto FaithFreedom.org or to a website called Apostates of Islam. And for a humorous look at Islamic enablers, just type the words "Dhimwhit of the Month" into Google. The word "dhimmitude" refers to the enslavement of non-Muslims by Muslims and a "dhimwit" is a non-Muslim who helps enable them to do that. Peace ...be with you.
