Dear Daniel,

A woman raped is to be flogged as per Islam. Where have you got this idea. The rapist is given capital punishment but how come the woman raped be flogged. What a disinformation, even the most biased person against Islam will also not believe it. Can you please give reference for this claim.

Some tribes have the tradition to kill the girl if she is found involved in illicit relations. This has nothing to do with Islam. As per Islam a non married woman and man found doing intercourse in front of 4 eye witnesses will be flogged and married one doing it will be stoned to death. Very difficult to prove, who can one do it in front of 4 eye witnesses. Shouldn't a man cheating his wife and a wife doing it be punished. Why should bastards be born in a society. Please note these punishments are given where sharia is implemented in total.

Prostitution is not allowed in Islam as it spreads lethal viruses, spoils youth, spoils married lives. You said it is a pity crime, No dear it is not a crime in USA, but it is a profession and a lady can be a registered sex labour. Islam believes in pure and just society ,hence no prostitution. Who will like to see his mother, sister or wife a prostitute.
