Reader comment on item: Americans Wake Up to Islamism
in response to reader comment: Respond to my brother The Grand

Mr Bhajat, writing freely from within the US says:
".... but to defeat Islamic terrorism you have to study it without emotion or feelings, .."

Yes - I agree - see it dispassionately for the evil that it is - and work towards eliminating. Exactly as doctors do with cancer etc. Doctors can't be accused of 'cancerphobia ' when they deal with this threat. It's the same with 'Islamophobia'. No emotions need be involved. There is a contagion - so we deal with it.

"...and as I learned from Discart the great Philosopher, you have to, if you want control something, forget your hatred or feelings against that thing."
Quite so. Emotion clouds judgment.

"....Western was under real threats of Muslims in middle ages because western was saw them as infidels and Mohammedians, .."
Well, no, quite apart from just being 'Mohammedans' - actually the Ottoman Empire was preoccupied with raping and pillaging and bringing under islamic domination as much of eastern Europe as it could get its hands on.
"...So, if you want to lose in this war, keep thinking like that and treat all Muslims, despite differences, as enemies, and make the united against freedom, liberty and human rights. But if keep support moderates and neutral Muslims, terrorists will start lose, not only the battle, but the war. "

Sure , Sufi's and Sunnis are very different but this begs the question - what are moderate muslims?
What does a 'moderate' believe that the more devoted do not?
