Moderate Islam is the Utopia not Islam.

Reader comment on item: Americans Wake Up to Islamism

Islam the 'fashion' is like many religions where people take their personal belief and attach it to a popular name. Right now Islam for many in the West is like a new fashion, 'Arafat's scarf' so to speak. I have no confidence that this Utopian Islam will win out over the core of Islam which is the words and deeds of Mohammad, who combined the State with God, just as many did in the past. Mohammad is Caesar, and Pharaoh, a state religion. Any person who treats Islam like a new fashion faith will be in for a rude awakening when the real force of it's definition enters into their lives from waking to waking. The only way possible to fight against the force of Islam is by revealing over and over the words of Mohammad, and revealing the truth about the life he led and the false promises he made for an afterlife that is in reality HELL.

The true followers of Islam know very well that when Muslims are given a chance at freedom they will also have a chance to choose whether they want to cling to the words and deeds of Mohammad or seek another way to nourish their soul. That is exactly why the true followers of Islam must make their move now because they know just as Mohammad did that people have no compulsion toward Islam and that is why they many times were forced to declare belief or face the death of themselves or their loved ones. Islam hates freedom and that is why they must appear as if what happened on 9-ll was a victory for Islam and that is why the are moving so fast to push their way into the area where our wounds have not yet healed.

We must remain steadfast in our beliefs, and not let Islam lead us into violence just as Islam wants because that is the only way Islam understands. The sword is it's only weapon while we have the words and the deeds of another who led a blameless life and who showed us a great light when we lived in darkness. The forces of darkness have already lost, we are just witnessing the uncovering.
