Reader comment on item: Americans Wake Up to Islamism

Submitted by Michael (Egypt), Sep 17, 2010 at 20:27

I'm a citizen of an Arabic country, though I can assert that I'm not, of course, a Muslim.

After I read this article I experienced great grief and pessimism. You ask why, because even the most brilliant scholars of America are still living in another world.

Mr Pipes, I've been living in an Islamic community for more than fourth of a century uptill now and I must correct your fatal false information.

Islam had never been, and will never be, a religion of peace! I cannot even imagine that you have wrote that!

Islam is not even a religion, it is a political, military ideology, based on the teachings of Muhammad. Everything in Islam is pertinent to war and victory. All Muslims consider themselves living in continuous struggle and war with other religions, till Islam prevails.

I don't know who has told you that there is something called "Islamism", for it is not there. All is there is Islam with its Quran and Sharia. You must understand Mr Pipes that Muslims use "Al Taqia' with the west. Al Taqia is an Islamic practice meaning to "deceive" the enemy untill you gain control over him. In Islam one of the most notable names of Allah is "Khair Al Makereen", which means, "the Greatest Deceiver". That is what Muhammad did in his life time, and this is what Muslims are doing in the west. Wake up Mr Pipes, they are fooling you all.

Islam is political, military ideology like Nazism and Communism, that understands nothing but the language of violence and power. If you really want to defeat "Islamism" (meaning the Islamic "religion" itself), use radical power. Radicalism cannot be defeated but by radicalism. Islam must be wiped off the earth, somehow. I know that this is hard to believe, but I assure you with regret, it is the truth.
