Reader comment on item: Americans Wake Up to Islamism

Submitted by Jules Posten (United States), Sep 8, 2010 at 14:49

folks, it seems to me that our heads are still in the sand when it comes to the danger that our country and we as Americans face. we simply want to be loved by everyone and we cannot understand that there are very bad people in the world who hate us and our way of life and will do just about anything to hurt and kill us. we want to be tolerant but fail to see that our foe is completely intolerant. they sure as shooting do not suscribe to the golden rule which is the basic premise of Judeo-Christian ethics. what we suscribe to is do unto others as we would have others do unto us, the true believers beilieve in forced religious conversions, or else, and they laugh loud and long at us when we allow them to subvert our society with their religeous practices, all in the name of toleration and good faith. we are marching towards our demise as a society like lemmings towards the sea, and we don't have any idea of what is happening. like the tale of frog placed in a pan of cool water and then the gas is turned on and since the heat buildup is slow but sure, the poor frog doesn't realize he's being boiled alive. America and its people are in the gravest of danger. wake up people, before we're all being forced to bow towards Mecca several times a day.
