in response to reader comment: Pakistani MANSOOR- To Infidel

There are certain sects of Christians who are so pathologically preoccupied with sin and damnation that they cannot even live a normal life. To me they seem much like the Wahabi Muslims so fearful are they of G-Ds wrath. Their idea of G-D is dismal indeed and they think they can do nothing about because they all believe as does Mansoor in predestination. If G-d had wanted to predetermine everything in creation there would be no room for growth and man would never be able to attain paradise. It would be a waste of time to even try because we would fail at every attempt. As well there would be no reason to follow the LAW. It would make the LAW meaningless.

But G-D gave us a free will and he also gave us the law to help us to grow up strong in faith and understanding. It is only when we abandon the LAW that we abandon G-D.

For years now the so called liberal intellectuals have been telling us that there is no G-D. That it is all superstition and that their idea of science is the only answer. But look where that got us. A terrible war in which millions of innocent people died for no reason other than they were religious and believed in G-D.
