There was a time when Christians treated people the same way but that was a long time ago. Many of my folk remember the Burning Times, the Inquisition and the Pogroms in eastern Europe as well as the holocaust.

All religions have had their hard times growing up in the world. Call them spiritual growing pains if you will. The middle East is a land still living for the most part in the seventeenth century. It wasn't too long ago, well within my own life time that black men were lynched in the south here where I live and for what reason? Mans inhumanity to man has a long history and no people is imune to the motivations that bring this out. It is only when we begin to truly love G-D that we can rise above this inhumanity.
