My dear emy -

Terrorized, Terrorizing, Terrorizes

1. To fill or overpower with terror; terrify.

2. To coerce by intimidation or fear.

Terror

1. Intense, overpowering fear.

2. One that instills intense fear

3. The ability to instill intense fear

4. Violence committed or threatened by a group to intimidate or coerce a population, as for military or political purposes.

Terrorism

1. The unlawful use or threatened use of force or violence by a person or an organized group against people or property with the intention of intimidating or coercing societies or governments, often for ideological or political reasons.

2. The calculated use of violence (or the threat of violence) against civilians in order to attain goals that are political or religious or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear

Terrorist

One that engages in acts or an act of terrorism.

Allow me to ‘correct' your ‘nit-picked' definition (can't break the habit – eh?)

I will allow there is a bit of sarcasm in everything I write – I apologize and ask that you ‘try' to overlook it as I will do the same with you. To put the record straight – I do not believe ALL Muslims are Terrorists and I don't believe you will find that accusation in the liberal media – I do believe that ALL Muslims are subject to a malady that Dr. Pipes has labeled ‘Sudden Jihad Syndrome' – this phenomenon may occur when an otherwise ‘peaceful' Muslim becomes aware of the ‘requirement of Jihad in the way of Allah' that is incumbent on ALL Muslims.

There are many stories, especially from Europe, where nominally docile Muslims have picked-up and gone to Iraq and lent themselves to the purpose of a Homicide Bomber – with no (other) explanation than SJS. I am sorry to inform you that this malady is a direct result of quranic instructions to ALL Muslims. It is the quran, and therefore Islam, that is the principle author and all to often finisher of the majority of acts of terrorism in the world today. (over 10,000 since 9/11 and counting)

And as for Muhammad ... did he not brag to the ‘believers', after one of their ‘battles', that he (they) had victory through (because of) TERROR? Have you ever looked in the quran to see how many times Muhammad or Allah referred to their use of TERROR to ensure the success of Islam? Just asking?

It doesn't bother me that Islam thinks it's the only way to a ‘peaceful' eternity – as you say, other religions make the same claim – however, no other religion takes rejection of its claim as an excuse to relieve the rejecter of ‘his' earthly life. Does not the quran tell you not to take Jews and Christians as helpers or friends because they are helpers or friends only to one another? Does not the quran tell you to ‘fight' the ‘people of the book' until they are subjugated and made to consider themselves subdued and made to pay the ‘protection tax'? Such tolerance I do not wish ever to experience.
