Imam writes: "As a Muslim I don't see a problem with people of other religions. I respect everyone, and thier beliefs, just as I expect them to respect mine. I believe Islam can be radical, just as christianity can be, and has at times been radical."

Fine, you may be an exception but most of your fellow brethren don't see it that way as seen from the world events. You can't deny that!!! Just looking at the comments on this site by Muslims show they have a big problem with non-Muslims!!! If you mean what you say, why don't you tell them what you are telling us. Let's see if they listen!! And the imams from all Muslim countries issue fatwas on a daily basis which show they don't respect or have any desire to respect any other religion!!!

As to your comment on radicalism in Islam and christianity, you say "Islam can be radical" which is putting it mildly in the face of worldwide Muslim terrorism. It's not - "can be" but "is" radical. Ah, those radical christians - we don't see any terror attacks in the name of christianity on the followers of other religions shouting "God is great" as opposed to what Muslims are doing all over the world.
