Islam will always be THE core problem

I understand Mr. Pipe's position - a matter of practicality for him - but Islam will always be the core problem because almost any Muslim practicing & believing some moderate version of Islam can too easily cross over to the militant jihad side in short order. He only has to become very upset about something (Eg. Israel- Palestinian conflict) or meet someone who will encourage him to read the Koran & Hadiths in a more literal way than he previously wanted to.

The frequent words of intolerance, militant jihad and fear of hell for disbelief are there in clear enough language. ...
