the Torah wasn't written until the time of the Babylonian exile and it was written then only in order to maintain the integrity of the Jewish community in exile. At the same time as the Torah was written (IN Babylonian script) the Talmudic commentaries were produced as a means of interpreting the written word of the Torah. The True Torah was never written down but continued as an oral tradition as it remains today. As the Kabbalists maintain, the True torah is written in the blood of our veins and in the marrow of or bones. In other words The True Torah is a natural part of our being human and cannot be seperated from us so long as we live. It is held that the Torah is the means that G-D used to create the manifest realm in all its apparent glory. The AYN SUF is what lies behind the appearence of the manifest realm and motivates it and gives it life. The Tetragramaton, the six letter name of G-D is actually an equation which explanes and defines the workings of all the material realm. Einsteins famous equation represented essentially the same idea but in more modern terms that science could use. This is why it was the Jews who first learned how to make use of atomic energy. It was all written in the Torah over three millenia ago.
