Osama Obama with no comma but with comment and compliment to Mr. Pipes

Reader comment on item: On Islam and Islamism

Daniel Pipes is such a great writer and thinker! I wish he would be running for office. I would think, "Finally a candidate with brains and guts."

Anyway, Mr. Pipes isn't running for office, and Obama is the candidate many Americans have to deal with. To quote one of the best, in her ongoing quest to enlighten us all on the current problems, Marion Dreyfus reminds us of the encouragement to lie, a vehicle often used by Islamists even when they are not Fundamentalists.

Here are her words, "We are here speaking of taqqiyyah. In this little-known corner of the religion of peace, one is permitted—nay, encouraged—to dissimulate, obfuscate…basically, to lie. To protect the faithful or interests of the faith. What began as a theological tool to allow Shiites to hide their beliefs in hostile environments, however, became a regular part of the unannounced liturgy tacklebox. In other words, it sanctions Muslims to misstate anything for the good of Islam or Muslims."

If Obama wins the Democratic nomination, will al-Qaeda be saddened? If Obama wins the presidential election of 2008, will al-Qaeda members feel hurt? I wonder if one is allowed to be pretend to be a Christian. After all, Mr. Obama comes from a background of lie-through-your-teeth-to-help-Islam. Would Osama bin Laden be angered to hear that Obama won the presidency? Would the members of every radical, terrorist organization be depressed?

Rather, methinks they would be firing rifles into the air and celebrating while giving the children candies and sweets. That's exactly why I will never vote for Barrack Obama. Is Osama against Obama? How does Obama feel about Osama? If Osama could vote wouldn't he vote for Obama?

The world is blessed with Daniel Pipes. Let's hope he becomes an ambassador (a role he so clearly deserves!).
