Fascism is intrinsic to islam. The models that have worked in the past and will surely work against islam are equally ruthless ones (communism, catholicist inquisition).

While fighting the evil, can we afford to throw out the babies (our free values) as we throw out the broken tub (islam)?

The real problem is the divisions among politicians; unwillingness to see the truth, inadequate understanding and agreement on the lowest common denominator - that islam is a fascist ideology which camouflages under the garb of religion; and if space should be provided to such intolerant ideologies?

The inflammatory potential of islam is much much more than that of a belief system like Indian Jainism. Dont we give special safeguards handling incendiary stuff? It is same here. Islam requires safeguards.

Some of the suggestions I made can and should be institutionalised. Statemanship of highest order and united actions are warranted to defeat the islamist enemy without compromising our free values.

I know of two politicians in the free world - Narenda Modi of India and Geert Wilders of Netherlands who have provided measured responses to islam. Wilders' Fitna appeals to amend the koran. Islamists and pseudo liberals that are embedded in the media would continue undermining efforts on exposing Islam. These efforts should be frontally faced and defeated.

Ideally we should defeat islam with minimal collateral damage to "free values". If that does not work and if we opt for harder options, it should be on an escalating pathway.

If softer options dont work a temporary abrogation of some of our fundamental rights for a clearly defined period (say five years) should be the first escalation activity. This period can be used to eliminate the problem from its roots - militarily occupying islamic nations and reforming them - freeing them from islamic fascist weltanschuang.

In any situation, islamic/koranic totalitarian approach of manufactured hate and killing millions should be eschewed by us. Because we stand for free and humanist values.
