islam treats women poorly , then us ?

in response to reader comment: Islam and Women

The people who follow the teachings of mohammed ...tell us that if they are allowed to come to the west as immigrants that they will be good people. That we have nothing to fear and anyone who says otherwise is a liar and racist. If we examine how islamic people treat their own people ( in this case muslim women ) we see a horrible life that exists. In muslim countries women have no rights at all. So called " honor killings " are frequent and the killers are allowed to go free by the islamic people. Female muslims as children undergo female genital mutilation. This is barbaric and evil. If the islamic people treats us only 10 percent as bad as they do their own women then God help us. If islamic people wish to be seen as good, they must act as such.
