"So all these stories culled from reputable, even muslim sympathetic (sycophantic), news organizations are just part of the Zionist/Western/Christian conspiracy to put islam down.
. . .
You may say in blogs, white papers or sound bytes that muslims in general reject these acts "of a few extremists" and that the islamic world wants to live in harmony with others. Unfortunately they are just that, words written on blogs and paper or mentioned in some staged newscast."

I think it's very interesting how you discriminated between "reputable" sources and the sources that come directly from Muslims themselves. I don't think that it's right for you to claim that certain sources are more or less "reputable" than others without concrete evidence.

Also, blogs are a form of communication closely tied to the uncensored personal opinions of many individuals from diverse backgrounds. If a Muslim is posting an opinion in a blog, chances are that he or she is posting a valid, legitimate opinion. When it comes to blogging, there is no motivation to lie.

As for the allegedly "staged" newscasts you mention: if such newscasts ever existed (which I highly doubt with no sufficient evidence), there are laws (at least in the United States) protecting the public from false or misleading news. I don't know how the laws are in the Phillipines.
