Informed Ignorance

Reader comment on item: "At War with Islamic Fascists"
in response to reader comment: Please Read Qur'an

lol, i love it when novice Islamo-critics tout their "knowledge" of Islam...Infidel you, state you read the "the Hadiths all 93 chapters"...this boast, to anyone with a smidgeon of hadith familiarity, is a joke...there are numerous works of hadith, and not all are even translated, so you have hardly read "all" the hadith...93 chapters? you must've read something abridged...lol

in another thread you quoted from ibn ishaq, calling it the first autobiography of Muhammad...another joke...there is NO autobiography of Muhammad, and ibn ishaq never even wrote a book...what is attributed to him is from notes recorded by his students...by scholastic standards, ibn ishaq's works are hardly referenced in comparison to, say, ibn Hisham's...

as for the Quran, you can read 27 translations (as i have) and still not understand but a fraction of the Quran...misquotes, generalizations, and simply incorrect interpretations that abound this site are clear indicators of that shortcoming...

such ignorance only fuels the confidence of those you have enmity towards, no different in any opposite regard...no wonder the "war on terror" is going as well as, say, the "war on drugs"...
