Just call them Muslims

Reader comment on item: "At War with Islamic Fascists"

How about simply calling them Muslims. The sooner we admit that the real problem is Islam itself the sooner we will be able to deal with the real problem. The sooner we dispense with this silly notion that there is nothing wrong with Islam, that Islam is a "legitimate" religion, or a "great" religion or that moderate Muslims exist, the sooner we dispense with all those myths the better off we in the West will be.

The so-called "moderate" Muslims aren't real Muslims. They are mostly Muslim in name only, like many (most?) Christians in Europe. They may be of Muslim heritage but if they do not believe exactly as bin Laden believes, that all the infidels must die, then they aren't real Muslims. We are at war with - not Islamic fascists - but with Islam period. Certainly Islamic societies believe they are at war with us - the crusaders, the West, the infidels... and I say it's time to defend ourselves and wipe them out before they wipe us out.

Examine history - since Muhammad arrived on the scene some 1400 years ago the world around him and his so-called "religion" has been under constant attack. The lands of Syria, Turkey, Egypt, North Africa... all were Christian in 600 A.D. How many times must Europe be attacked by Muslims before Europeans defend themselves. ... Islam uses the facade of religion to hide it's real intentions - world conquest by any and all means.
