Reader comment on item: White House Nonchalance toward the Middle East

Submitted by Kafka (United States), Mar 22, 2006 at 11:42

After so many blunders, I have become unable to trust the Bush Administration to conduct the war on Islamism. Having one's heart in the right place begins to seem trivial. I mostly keep quiet about my change of view, mostly because I recognize that the next President may be even worse, perhaps chosen from among Michael Moore Democrats - a faction that has fully discredited itself and its party on matters of national security. There appear to be no serious Democrats with a realistic chance of winning their party's nomination in 2008. Henry Jackson must be weeping in his grave.
