Howard you said it all except that there is a growing number of secular muslims who do not fall into the category of west hating practising muslim umma. They are basically non practising ex-muslims who are patriotic and truly appreciate the opportunity of living in the west and thankful of escaping their islamic countries. Wafa Sultan is one of them. They are essentially closet apostates who have to keep their mouths shut to avoid persecution by the practioners of religion of peace. As you know, Quran and islamic sharia law calls for slaying of apostates and all those who criticize Mohammed , Quran or islam.

Danish cartoon artists fall in that category, that is why muslims all over the world are calling for their death and are anouncing millions of dollars as rewards.

The pratitioners of religion of peace hate muslim apostates the most and believe that Allah guarantees them heaven and 72 big bossomed virgins if they manage to kill them. Salman Rusdie , Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Taslima Nasreen, Irshad Manji , Ibn Warraq , Ali Sina are either in hiding or have hired guards to escape islamist virgin seekers.

You should read the muslims fuming and going crazy all over islamic internet forums about Wafa Sultan. They think that she deserves to die more than the danish cartoonists since her interview was a lot more damaging then the cartoons. So many practioners of religion of peace are drooling to kill her and claim Allah's rewards who said " whoever kills or is killed for Allah's cause is guaranteed paradise (9.111) in Quran.
