I can appreciate the sincerity of the advice to "think" or "analyze", etc., but i think it behooves one to take such advice before giving it.

For example, regarding Aisha, it is pretty clear that she was not 9 years old, despite the recorded and oft cited hadith/biography that put forth such information - given the fact that there is more evidence, often from the same source, that establishes Aisha was a teen when she was betrothed to Muhammad...

To harp on an erroneous point/assumption, and use it to pass judgement or give advice is all to easily seen as disengenuous...it's galileo-in-church argumentation

Lastly, it might be that humility-in-knowledge might be the order of the day...it's clear there's a lot yet for many to simply learn about Islam other than what is seen on CNN or the 700 Club

and before you paint Jesus so quickly as the cheek-turning pacifist he is popularly characterized as, as the "good" antithesis to "bad" Muhammad, it's a good idea to remember that there is discrepancy between what is recorded about the two (much about Muhammad, not much - that isn't questionalbe - about Jesus), and even in light of the gospel, i haven't heard any "justification" adequate enough to explain "Jesus-the-pacifist" in light of Peter's ampuation of the priest-servant's ear - with a sword "Jesus-the-pacifist" ordered him to procure...
